The 18th Century Brackenrigg Inn overlooks Ullswater in the Lake District. You may enjoy beautiful views of Ullswater from your own accommodation. The Brack has 15 boutique rooms, 9 of which are hotel rooms and the other 6 are stable conversions, all of which are dog friendly.
We provide amazing pub classics as well as pizzas produced in our own pizza ovens and other scrumptious home-cooked delights on our restaurant menu. Everything is made from scratch, and all ingredients are acquired locally. Try our delicious Cumbrian Sausage!

Monday through Saturday, 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. and 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. (Sunday, 12 to 8pm).
The main menu features scrumptious classic pub cuisine including a four-hour braised beef and ale pie prepared with authentic shortcrust pastry.
Chef's specials are available after 4 p.m. and change based on seasonal availability, offering more innovative selections.
Tapas are given with a choice of three entrees and a pint for a fixed price on Friday evenings.
There are vegetarian options, and the children's menu has a selection of dishes to choose from.
Every Sunday from 12 p.m. to 2.30 p.m., a traditional roast dinner with beef and one other meat choice is served.
The Brackenrigg Inn has its own brewery that began brewing in 2015 in a converted former stable block behind the inn.
Brack’N’Brew creates five different ales, all given names with local references, such as Steamer Snout and the Aira Force IPA. All five ales are available from the bar, along with a selection of guest ales. Visitors can also purchase bottled ale to take away with them.
The bar has a range of draught lagers and ciders, and wine lovers are well served here with over 25 varieties to choose from, including an Argentinian Malbec and a New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc.
The bar also stocks a good selection of gins and whiskies, including several that are from local distilleries. Soft drinks and hot drinks are also available here.
The bar has a selection of board games available to play. Outside, there is a seating area at the front with views out towards Ullswater. There is an additional beer garden to the rear. Dogs are welcome in the bar, the dining room, and in some of the guest rooms. There is a weekly quiz night held each Wednesday evening.
